The PRK treatment lasers only into the superficial layers of the cornea, providing extra safety in eyes that need it. This way, the outcome of the treatment is not only accurate, but you also have the reassurance of a lasting result. For laser treatment, you must be at least 18 years old and have had a stable spectacle strength in the last two years (less than 1 diopter change). The costs are € 1.635 per eye. The treatment is performed by one of our specialised surgeons, Drs Robin Ollivier or Prof Rudy Nuijts. The treatment itself takes about 10 minutes per eye. This treatment also includes 2 years of medication, follow-up checks and any re-treatments.
